They finally appeared. Yuma and Miyabi, like two belated poisonous flowers, slowly bloomed in the deserted city of Desperate Zone 1.4. You say it’s just a game, but I think their appearance is more like a secret and romantic murder.
Yuma is lightning. He is not the bright sunshine, but the electric snake wandering in the sky before the rainstorm. His strong attack is not to protect anyone, but an impulse that has been suppressed for a long time, like the desire that comes at night and cannot be controlled. He is taciturn, but he shouts silently with extreme speed and strength. He is cold and unkind, but also like some kind of lonely confession.
Miyabi is ice. She writes poems with a sword, and each of her moves is as sharp as the parting words of a lover. She doesn’t fight for anyone, but for order, ideals, and that little bit of obsession that can’t be spoken. She said she wanted to build an “unbreakable city management system”, which sounded like a woman trying to rebuild herself with rules in the ruins of love.
They don’t belong to each other, but they are destined to meet. One woke up from a dream in the first half of the card pool, and the other arrived as promised in the second half of the card pool. They are like destined enemies of each other, or parallel lines that never intersect. You say it’s just the chance of drawing a card, but I think it’s a test of fate.
And Treabar is like a cup of yellow soup before the trial – it prompts you to place a bet, whether you are drunk or sober, at least at the moment of drawing a card, you believe that you hold the power to decide your fate.
Yuma and Miyabi, this cold pair, may be the messenger of destruction, or the embodiment of redemption. But you know that you have already begun to love them before they appeared.
